Day 1:  Hanoi – Overnight Train to Lao Cai
Make your way to Hanoi train station for your overnight train journey from Vietnam’s capital city to the border town of Lao Cai. The train departs at 21:15 pm. (No transfer, no meal included)

Day 2:  Lao Cai – Sapa – Catcat village
Arrive early in Lao cai at 06 00 am, we get picked up by shuttle bus for our drive up the spectacular Sapa pass, which is 1300 m high, 33 km long. The bus ride uphill takes a little over an hour giving you a glimpse of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces. Arrive Sapa in the morning; we have some free time to wander around, exploring this beautiful multi-ethnic town.
In the afternoon, we take a walk to Cat Cat Waterfall to visit Black H’Mong minority people. Return to Sa Pa for a shower and a rest before heading out for dinner.
Overnight in Sapa.
Optional activity: visit Ham Rong Mt. for some good panoramic views of Sapa town and the surrounding valleys.

Day 3:  Sapa – Hang Da – Hau Thao – Giang Ta Chai ( Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner )
9:00am – Begin trek from central Sapa towards Dragon jaw Mountain.
9:20am – Trek up hill and reach the altitude of 1850m ( 250m above Sapa) and be rewarded with spectacular views of Sapa.
11:30am – Arrive to untouched Hang Da ( Rocky cave) village of Black H’mong culture and talk with hospitable families.
12:30pm – Break for a picnic lunch.
1:00pm – Continue trekking along the side of Dragon jaw Moutian and enjoy an over all view of many villages with rice terraces down in the Muong Hoa valley.
2:30pm – Trek through a village called Hau Thao with Black H’mong people.
4:00pm – Arrive to An Giang Chai village inhabited by Zay and Red Zao minorities. We will stay the night here in a traditional Zay home saty located at the foot of Giang Ta Chai waterfall.
Overnight in Homestay (B/L/D)

Day 4:  Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Ban Ho – Sapa  ( Breakfast, Lunch )
Breakfast with the local family and then get to a village located at the foot of HoangLienSon range via bamboo forests. Visit a waterfall and a rattan bridge. After the village, get down to the river, cross it and keep going to SuPan village for 2 minorities – The H’mong and the Red Dzao. . Get off the road to go down hill to BanHo village. This full day of trekking takes you along local paths, up and down rice terraces and into the villages and homes of the local hill tribes, especially getting to see the colourful Red Dzao hill tribe. Picnic lunch by the stream.
Short trek to the dirt road for the jeep ride back to Sa Pa. Free afternoon to explore Sa Pa town, with great shopping in the market. Bus departs chau long hotel  in Sa Pa 4-5:30pm, arrives in Lao Cai around 6:30pm for the night train back to Ha Noi (soft sleeper with aircon). Trip ends 5:00-5:30am at the Ha Noi station.

Day 5:  Hanoi
Arrive in Hanoi at 05 30 am. Make your way to your hotel. Tour ends. (no transfer)
