The area around Luang Prabang is blessed with nature. Mountains, rivers and the Lao life on the countryside can be discovered easily by raft or kayak. A day outside of town with a river tour makes a holiday even more remarkable. You may visit areas which would not be accessible for you by road, meet people on the countryside and offer a different view on the lives here in Laos.

Day 1:
Luong Prabang Kayaking & Elephant Riding
In the morning, we will drive out of town to Ann Village about 25 KM from town, where we will start kayaking along Kharn River about 4h.
Along the river, we can see daily lives of locals finding food. Many of those construction workers, some of them collect sand, stone along Kharn river to sell for construction companies in the town. Some of them are farmers, planting seasonal crops including eggplant, ginger, pumpkin, chili and other vegetable along the bank of the Kharn River. We will stop to visit Tadsae Water Fall, where the most beautiful here during rainy season. Most of local people gather for picnic during weekend.
Arrive at Ban Noon’s Elephant Camp, overview about its original come from and daily breeding those elephant. Then take an elephant ride for hour and half throughout a jungle down to Kharn River. Then continue some more kayaking before heading back to the town on the local Jumbo
